New Casio watches have been proudly announced in the US following the debut of the G-Shock X-Large Combi (GA100), a "formidable" analogue and digital wrist watch that features a huge case.

The distinct G-Shock style is upheld by the new offerings, it has been said, with the 55.0 x 51.2 x 16.9mm GA100 featuring "unsurpassed" water and shock resistance associated with all G-Shock watches, as well as a riveted dial ring and embossed index that makes the timepiece look more three-dimensional.

Large side buttons with anti-skid finish add to the enhanced functionality of the timepiece.

Shigenori Itoh, the vice-president of Casio''s Timepiece Division and ever-ready spokesman for the brand, said: "The G-Shock GA100 is testament of our commitment to our consumers. We have listened closely and delivered a stylish, large-face, technically advanced timepiece."

It follows the announcement of a partnership between the Casio watch brand and Blvck Scvle.
