One of Britain's biggest football teams has come together with a Swiss watchmaker to raise funds for its charity.

Manchester United and Hublot celebrated a night of fashion and charity in New York on July 25th in aid of the Manchester United Foundation.

The brands have collaborated on three watch designs previously, and following a catwalk show, they began auctioning off a variety of timepiece and Man U collectibles for the charity.

Many of the teams top players attended the event including Michael Owen, Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney.

Manager Sir Alex Ferguson was also present and his Hublot All Black red timepiece was one of the items in the auction.

He said: "Through the power of football, Manchester United Foundation will develop our youngsters so that they are able to acquire qualities which will remain with them through life."

The Foundation uses football coaching, education and skills training to help young people in need.

The latest Man Utd/ Hublot range King Power Red Devil has grass from Old Trafford embedded in its indexes.
