Festina watches arrive in UK

Spanish watchmaker Festina has announced that it is to sell timepieces in the UK for the first time.The brand was first launched in 1902, with its origins in Switzerland, and offers a collection of products which should suit the taste of every watch fan, male or female.
Each year, Festina sells over 4.5 million timepieces in 75 countries around the world, with some appealing styles including a ceramic fashion watch range and some sportier models.
Its ChronoBike series, for example, provides watch enthusiasts with products that are inspired by the components seen on bicycles.
Festina may also be recognisable to those interested in sport, seeing as though the company has been a long-time promoter of the Tour de France and Tour de Suisse events, as well as the official sponsor of football club FC Zurich.
The brand also promises that "every new Festina collection transmits universal emotions such as love, freedom, passion and, of course, attraction".
