Fashion sense 'needs individuality'

People may want to look to cutting-edge watch brands to complete their overall fashion look following comments from a major player in the industry.

Lorraine Candy, the editor-in-chief of Elle Magazine, stated that the fashion business is regularly looking for designers with brand new ideas as well as passion and determination to reinvigorate the sector to match up to the high expectations of the consumer.

She explained that style gurus, such as Tokyo Flash and Black Dice, will no doubt look to people with a huge range of skills to add strength to areas which companies would usually be without with their existing staff.

Ms Candy added: "Individuality and a signature style is what marks people out - you must believe in the look you are creating and it can't be derivative or a 'copycat' look.

In terms of fashion, the most stylish place to live is London, according to the attendees of Clothes Show Live in London last month, though Manchester's "eclectic" fashion taste was also applauded.
