Ellesse watches - Ellesse celebrates 50th anniversary

First published: 14-07-2009

Ellesse, a leading watch manufacturer based in Italy, has just celebrated its 50th anniversary in front of a packed crowd of party-goers this month.

Hosting the event in the country's capital of Rome, the get-together for the fashion house saw a number of stars head out to enjoy themselves, ranging from sports stars to popular models.

Alongside Jade Jagger, Gemma Arterton, Pat Cash and their friends, English model Lily Cole also made a stunning appearance with her boyfriend Enrique Murciano, who she is rumoured to be engaged to.

Osoblog even went as far as to imply that she could have been pregnant, given the amount of time she spent rubbing her stomach as she wandered around the event in a wonderful strapless lace dress.

Ellesse was founded by Leonardo Servadio in 1959, with the designer abbreviating his name to LS and turning the pronunciation into the brand many people now know and love.
