Mark Ecko Watches is set to sponsor the DJ Stylus Awards 2009 in Canada.

More than 10,000 Canadian DJ fans cast their vote online in a bid to ensure that justice was done to the country's best scratching experts.

The 2009 winners will be determined by a group of industry 'tastemakers', with awards due to be presented on June 1st.

Mark Ecko Watches will present the awards and is among a long list of sponsors for this highly regarded industry gathering.

Presentations will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto, where doors will open at 18:00 (local time) for performers and nominees.

Categories include College Radio Show of the Year, Toronto and Montreal DJ of the Year and Canadian Hip Hop Single of the Year.

The event takes place directly after the 2009 Stylus Spinfest, which will take place between May 29th and 31st.

Stylus 2009 follows three sold out awards shows so far.
