Ebel receives 2010 Swiss Watch Campaign Prize

Watchmaker Ebel has been awarded the 2010 Swiss Watch Campaign Prize for its recent advertising campaign.

The accolade was announced at a ceremony held by specialist magazine Montres Passion for the advert which Ebel released this year, in which some of the company's timepieces are shown to leave an imprint onto different scenes, Watch Luxus has reported.

One of these included a silhouette of a watch seemingly appearing in sand, with another wrapped around water, all of which was praised by the award's jury as being innovative, giving a sense of identity and highlighting the products well.

Céline Bertin, international marketing director at Ebel, said: "On a watchmaking scene where testimonial-based campaigns have become the rule, Ebel expresses its very individual vision of luxury."

Watch fans after a new timepiece from the company may be interested in the Classic Hexagon 41mm, which goes for a simple design along with a "beautifully-understated dial".
