Duchess of Cambridge opts for Michael Kors

First published: 30-04-2014

She may have been known as waity Katie for a few years before her royal wedding, but the Duchess of Cambridge is bang on trend when it comes to fashion.

Kate has recently been spotted wearing the wares of Michael Kors for the first time. The watchmaker and designer is already a favourite of many influential people including First Lady Michelle Obama.

The former Ms Middleton chose Mr Kors to close her royal tour of New Zealand and Australia and a press release from the US company confirmed it.

"Michael Kors is pleased to announce that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wore an indigo twill jacquard swing coat from the Spring 2014 collection during the final day of the royal tour of Australia and New Zealand on April 25th, 2014," it read.

With so many royal engagements coming up, we wouldn't be surprised if Kate started twinning her gowns with a Michael Kors watch - she wouldn't want to keep people waiting, after all.
