Designer watches 'great for Valentine's Day'

First published: 10-02-2010

People running out of ideas of things to get people on Valentine's Day may want to invest in a watch, according to one fashion-conscious writer.

Diane Drinkwater explained that they're flexible as both men and women will enjoy having them, while the possibility of getting one engraved adds that perfect personal touch.

Furthermore, the number of different brands, styles and colours will mean that those willing to be thoughtful, romantic and different will be able to pick out the perfect accompaniment that their significant other can wear every day and remember who bought them it.

Ms Drinkwater concluded: "Designer brand watches are perfect for that fashion-conscious person who needs to look just fabulous all the time. Prices are very reasonable too, making it great value."

Last week, the crazily-designed Geocentric Watch was revealed on Geeky Gadgets, with the watch's different and strange movement based on the way planets rotate around the sun.
