Design and engineering award outlined for Casio watch

The Edifice EQW-M1000DB-1 Casio watch has been named by the CES Innovations 2010 Design and Engineering Awards as an honouree in the Personal Electronics category, the company has proudly revealed.

After a major review from industry designers and journalists chose the items focusing on the best designs in consumer technology and electronics, the independent panel of experts concluded that the Edifice ought to be featured in the Innovations Design and Engineering Awards Showcase.

"The Edifice line of watches embody high-tech features and stylish design, making it the perfect wrist accessory for the fashion forward man," said Shigenori Itoh, the vice-president of Casio's Timepiece Division.

"We are honoured to be recognised by CES for the Edifice timepiece and privileged to be part of the prestigious Innovations Design and Engineering Award program."

Casio G-Shock watches are also proud to reveal a recent deal with Globe clothing, concluding that it shows the company's strong bonds with the skate and surf community.
