Cuff watches 'the biggest timepiece style of 2011'

First published: 23-02-2011

Timepiece enthusiasts hoping to stay on trend this year may want to check out the range of cuff watches currently on offer.

George Harper East, from the Guild of Jewellery Designers, pointed out that this type of timepiece is "the biggest style" of the moment.

These are followed by watches which are designed with an eye-catching skeleton frame, though the expert noted that timepieces as a whole are proving a big fashion talking point of the moment.

Mr East commented: "Worn with bangles and bracelets, and often in multiples, time is being shown off as a statement."

He went on to advise fashionistas to show some creativity in their accessory choices in 2011, with jewellery and watches sure to bring some shine to a summer outfit – no matter how dull the weather.

Recently, Stanley Morris, managing director at the MSS Watch Company, has said that, in his opinion, the quality of a fashion watch should be considered over the price of the product.
