Timepiece brand Corum was once again the sponsor of the Bol d'Or Mirabaud, with the company celebrating the announcement with a new sports watch.

Entitled the Admiral's Cup Seafender 48 Chrono Bol d'Or Mirabaud, the device has plenty of eye-catching features to honour Corum's second year being associated with the largest closed-water regatta worldwide.

For one, the bulky 48mm blue case allows for the details on the dial to easily be presented, with many useful elements featured.

Designed within a twelve-sided bezel, the dial features chronograph minutes and seconds hands paired up with traditional hour and minute hands in a unique style.

All of these hands are elegantly presented in gold tones, while a Clous de Paris hobnail motif further enhances the dial's style.

Nautical pennants across the Corum watch's face provide another nod to the Bol d'Or Mirabaud, which sees around one hundred boats taking to the water to compete in a competition that first occurred in 1939.

This year's regatta took place last Saturday (June 18th), with Alinghi winning the event with a record-breaking race.
