Citizen watches to appear in X Factor ads

Citizen watches could receive a great deal of interest as the company is planning to promote its latest line during the advertising break of The X Factor.

The company's new Unstoppable Advertising Campaign will premier during the break of the show on Saturday November 19th 2011, Retail Jeweller reported.

It will feature the latest designs from the Eco-Drive line, the Gent's Perpetual Chrono AT and the Ladies' Regent Diamond.

They will feature some of the brand's famous ambassadors, including Kim Clijsters and Padraig Harrington.

UK brand manager for the company Mark Robinson said: "It is key that our adverts have such prime time coverage in order to engage consumers and help them make informed choices when considering a luxury purchase as an ideal Christmas present."

American football star Eli Manning has recently been named as a new spokesperson for Citizen watches, with a limited edition charity design made especially for the athlete.
