Citizen watches creates new models

Citizen watches has announced it is to release a series of new designs to go on sale in India ahead of the forthcoming Diwali season.

The company has added 15 new products to its Eco-drive Super Titanium range, which brings the total number of products available in the collection to 24, the Hindu Business Line reported.

Announcing the news, managing director of Citizen watches Katsusuke Tokura and billiard and snooker champion Pankaj Advani appeared in Mumbai.

Commenting on the new line, Mr Tokura said that India is proving to be an increasingly important market for the brand.

"We have seen ten to 15 per cent growth annually here, over the last five years," the Citizen watches representative said.

Citizen has recently been seeing some success for its products, after the brand was awarded the New Zealand supplier of the year prize at the International Jewellery Fair in Australia last month.
