Citizen reveals 'luxury' watches

Watchmaker Citizen has launched its latest range of watches in India in a bid to take on the luxury watch market. The brand's latest Promaster collection covers two timepieces - the Eco-Drive Satellite Wave-Air and the Eco-Drive Altichron.
Speaking at the launch, India's Citizen Watches managing director Katsusuke Tokura admitted the company was not trying to compete for the same audience as the top-end luxury names, but it would still appear in top-half in the "pyramid of luxury".
He said: "Both the watches have enhanced performance with newer technologies and provocative design."
The Satellite Wave-Air model is the world’s first light-powered watch with a full-metal case that receives navigation satellite time signals.
Meanwhile, the Altichron timepiece offers ultra-precise measurement of depth, height or direction displayed simultaneously with the time at the push of a single button.
There are a selection of Citizen watches available for you to browse through at Watch Shop.
