Citizen launches membership scheme

First published: 14-04-2014

Watch designer Citizen has initiated a registration scheme it claims is the best around.

Anyone who has purchased a timepiece from Citizen since December 1st 2013 can sign up to the initiative, which will enable them to receive an additional year on their guarantee, Watch Pro reports.

People will be able to register for the National Watch Registration Programme online, while a leaflet informing new customers about the process will be included with every purchase from now on.

A monthly prize draw will also be held in which each member will be entered, with the prize being a new watch of a similar value to the one the winner has already bought.

The details of customers will also be used by Citizen as part of a new marketing scheme, with the aim to tempt consumers to make more purchases through emails featuring product launches, brand ambassador news, seasonal events and exclusive news and competitions.
