Christopher Ward unveils C60 Trident GMT

First published: 06-01-2011

A new timepiece from London-based watchmaker Christopher Ward has been praised in one source's review.

Critic Blake Buettner told Hodinkee of some of the appealing features which allows the Christopher Ward C60 Trident GMT stand out from other fashion watches on the market.

Some of these positive elements include a "subtly detailed" dial, which is splashed in a rich brown tone, as well as a trident shape and 300m of water resistance, giving the timepiece some value to divers and those interested in swimming.

Mr Buettner has also applauded the size and comfort of the watch, allowing it to easily lie on a wrist.

He commented: "The size (42mm) and weight (90g) make this watch a pleasure to wear."

Christopher Ward, which was formed in 2004 by the trio of Mike France, Chris Ward and Peter Ellis, has also made the C60 Trident GMT available with a Pepsi bezel and white hands and indices.
