Casio has unveiled two new watches in its Edifice and G-Shock ranges.

During its event at the BaselWorld convention in Switzerland, the watch designer revealed the Casio Edifice EQB-500, Pocket Lint reports.

This particular timepiece is a steel-branded classic analogue watch that features Bluetooth 4.0 LE connectivity previously utilised on the G-Shock GB-6900AA.

Although it can't send message alerts, this new device will allow you to set the time and any alarms through using your smartphone, while Casio's solar cells will power the watch.

The second new piece, known as the G-Shock GPW-1000, features a satellite location aspect that automatically adjusts the time depending on where you are in the world.

It also saves battery power by using radio clock technology, which prevents the use of too much power on GPS.

A release date for both pieces has not yet been announced, nor has a price, but they are expected to be marked at around £150.
