Watch maker Casio has announced it is set to continue its sponsorship of racer Tom Onslow-Cole.

The 26-year-old will remain an official partner of Casio despite his decision to switch from racing in the British Touring Car Championship to the British GT.

He has been partnered with the watch brand since 2008 and says he is proud to act as an ambassador for its Edifice range of devices.

Tim Gould, head of marketing for Casio, said: "We are delighted to continue to sponsor Tom.

"It is really exciting to support Tom in this new venture, which is a really good fit for our Casio Edifice range."

This particular line of watches was built with sport in mind, with the technology designed to be vibration-resistant during motor racing.

They also include Casio's Super Illuminator feature to increase visibility, while its Smart Access Function is also included.
