Casio hosts children's workshop in US

The watch and electronics brand Casio is collaborating with the Children's Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) for a second weekend in a row.

Youngsters are being encouraged to make a mother's day picture that merges their handmade artwork with a camera picture.

The event will also be a chance to showcase the new EX-S12 Casio camera, enabling production photographs without the need of a computer.

Toshiyuki Iguchi, senior general manager at Casio's Digital Imaging Division, said: "We are very excited to work with the Children's Museum of Manhattan to host workshops that celebrate Mother's Day.

"The Dynamic Photo function allows for moms and dads to take fun and unique pictures of their children with maximum ease."

The workshop will be held on May 3rd between 13:30 and 15:30 (local time). The event will be free as it is included in the cost of the museum entry fee.

Casio watches are set to make an appearance at another youth event later this month, but this time the brand will be putting smiles on faces in the UK.

Competition winners at this year's HUB Festival in Liverpool will be given Casio watches among other prizes when the event kicks off on May 23rd.
