Casio and New Era team up to celebrate G-Shock

Casio is celebrating the 30th birthday of its G-Shock brand in Japan by launching a new limited edition watch in collaboration with headwear manufacturer New Era.

It is the third time the two companies have worked together.

New Era is the exclusive maker and marketer of the official on-field cap worn by every Major League Baseball team in the US, while the companies products are also work throughout a range of other sports all over the world.

The latest G-Shock product pairs a black resin strap with a gold watch case and is shock and water resistant.

Its collectable packaging has been designed in the form of a New Era cap.

Casio says the watch "exemplifies the long standing performance ethos and athlete following of both heritage brands" and represents a combined brand heritage of over 120 years.
