Bulova celebrate a successful year

Watch maker Bulova celebrated a successful year with a cocktail party at BaselWorld last week (March 28th) with a host of famous guests.

Several Manchester United legends, including Dennis Irwin and Peter Schmeichel, were present after Bulova announced a partnership with the football club back in August.

The Premier League trophy, which United won for the 20th time last May, was also at the event, while president of the company Gregory Thumm spoke about the connection between the two so far.

He added: "This past year has been one of tremendous growth for Bulova.

"We are thrilled to be at BaselWorld to celebrate our recent achievements and toast to an even more exciting year ahead."

New luxury watches with the Manchester United crest are set to be designed within the near future as part of the three-year agreement.

A limited-edition, 24-carat gold timepiece will be available, albeit with six months notice, while the players and staff at the club will receive one each.
