Breitling reveal Navitimer Caliber 01

A limited edition timepiece from Breitling is set to be released in early 2011 and may intrigue watch fans.

Dubbed as the Navitimer Caliber 01, the timepiece looks set to pair up elements of the B01, which is said to have "fully in-house chronograph movement", with "an icon amongst pilots and aeronautic enthusiasts" – that of the Navitimer range from the company, according to Hodinkee.

Breitling seem to be dedicating a lot of time and effort to this special watch, going as far as to offer buyers a choice of either a steel-themed design or the elegant looking choice of red gold, though these are limited to 2000 and 200 pieces, respectively.

Other features of the Navitimer Caliber 01 include a case that measures in at a considerable 43-millimetre diameter and a epargne process being included within the dial – described as a "sophisticated technique endowing the indications with peerless radiance and readability", according to Breitling.

The watchmaker is no stranger to limited edition models, having recently unveiled the Bentley GMT Chronograph, which is being marked to coincide with the release of a new vehicle from the car manufacturer, Watch Luxus has reported.
