Bell & Ross releases BR 01-92 Compass

First published: 22-11-2010

Watchmaker Bell & Ross has developed a timepiece which should appeal to those after some novelty in a product.

That is because the BR 01-92 Compass is designed with two concentric discs on the watch face, which rotate under a sapphire glass-tinted half circle, Hodinkee reported.

Reading the time is unique as well, with a white line on the 12 o'clock position one of the most important elements. This indicates the current hour and minute, which is determined by the location of each disc.

The case of this fashion watch is designed in BR 01 style from the manufacturer, which measures in at 46mm and is finished with a protective coat of PVD – showing the military look which this timepiece is based on.

Commenting on the Bell & Ross Compass, the news source noted: "This is a Bell & Ross novelty we can get behind."

Meanwhile, the watch manufacturer recently revealed a pair of timepieces which could prove an attractive accessory to a dinner party outfit, with consumers receiving the choice of either a silver face and light grey band, or a black dial complete with a matching toned alligator strap, Hodinkee also reported.
