Individuals with an interest in music and those who hold a special place in their heart for Nixon watches may want to check out a new range from the brand.

That is because the company has partnered with well-known New York band Beastie Boys to release a quartet of limited-edition timepieces.

Each of these watches is set to support WKCR-FM, Columbia University's non-commercial student-run radio station, which is based within the group's home state.

Chad DiNenna, co-founder and director of marketing at Nixon, commented: "We are proud to work with The Beasties on this project and look forward to getting our friends and fans involved in its support."

He added that the collection is "a fun way to get involved and support a good cause", with timepieces coming in the colourful tones of red, white, blue and green.

An image of founding member Mike D is also featured across the watch's face, while a special message is decorated across both the dial and strap.

Purchasing this watch should be on the to-do lists of fans of Beastie Boys, who first emerged as a hardcore punk outfit in 1979.
