Baby-G Casio watches are ''playful and colourful''

First published: 30-03-2010

It seems that Casio watches continue to go from strength to strength with new designs, and the latest offerings from Baby-G are no exception, according to one style website.

Technabob explained that Casio watches, such as the line-up from G-Shock, are regularly seen as "bulky, manly and filled with functions that you'll probably never need", though women have an alternative with the refined and colourful new Baby-G range.

The range of hues included a hot pink dial and detailing on a black body, as well as an icy all-blue timepiece and several white watches using more relaxed colours such as green.

A number of extras come with the good-value Casio watches, including five daily alarms, a timer, stopwatch, 25-page databank and backlight, among other things.

Last week, Casio watches announced the lead for its Go Green spring collection of timepieces: the PRG110C-3, which features the company's Tough Solar Technology.
