Insurer and recovery services provider Mondial Assistance and car manufacturer BMW have presented awards and watches to BMW emergency technicians for their hard work.

The award for three lucky technicians Stuart Donovan, Mike Campbell and Ian Mitchell, was in recognition of their service as part of a collaboration between the two firms.

Technical services director of Mondial Assistance Robert James said: "Having worked in partnership with BMW for the past 29 years, we are committed to continually improving the customer experience.

"The results have been extremely positive with further improvement on the previous year."

Mr James added that the success of the technical team is due to the "ongoing training and technological investments".

The northern region of the BMW Technical team also picked up a regional award for best performance.

Winners were also presented with a collection of high-performance clothing, accessories and gifts.

BMW was recently named the Best Car Manufacturer at the prestigious Which? Awards 2009.
