Aviva rewards staff with watches and jewellery

British financial firm Aviva has announced the start of a UK-wide reward and recognition scheme in a bid to improve performance, using watches and jewellery as incentives.

Over 22,000 staff will be empowered to thank colleagues and nominate them based on the efforts and contributions they give to the workplace, with the new programme highlighting this through its name, Spotlight.

Over 500 gifts will be made available to workers ranging from smaller-value incentives such as cinema tickets and wine, to high-end bonuses such as jewellery and watches.

"Spotlight is about saying thank you to everyone who displays the behaviours that live up to the Aviva brand," said rewards director at Aviva Helen Jackson.

She continued: "It is a very impressive scheme that is easy to use and implement."

Ringo Starr, Alice Cooper, Macaulay Culkin and Bruce Willis were among the stars who recently took part in the rebranding of Aviva from its original Norwich Union moniker.
