Audemars Piguet watch to honour Arnold Schwarzenegger

First published: 09-03-2011

A new watch from Audemars Piguet that looks to honour movie legend Arnold Schwarzenegger has received a glowing review.

Entitled the Chronographe Royal Oak Offshore Arnold Schwarzenegger The Legacy, the ticker has been given a 68 out of 100 rating by the Watch Observer.

Their critic explained: "Audemars Piguet has succeeded in this challenge: the Royal Oak Offshore Arnold Schwarzenegger The Legacy is the perfect incarnation of a Hollywood star watch."

One of the unique aspects of this timepiece is the fact that it is the first from the well-known watchmaker's Royal Oak collection to be made entirely from ceramic.

Further appeal is highlighted in the dial of this wristwatch, which is given a mega-tapestry guilloche engraving pattern and markers finished in elegant pink gold.

Earlier this month, Audemars Piguet revealed the Queen Elizabeth II Cup 2011 Royal Oak, a special-edition watch designed to celebrate the brand's 13th year sponsoring the international equine race.
