Audemars Piguet releases Quantieme Perpetuel Jules Audemars

First published: 18-10-2010

Watch fans who like a lot of information from their timepiece may be interested in a new model by Audemars Piguet.

Called the Quantième Perpétuel Jules Audemars, the features on the timepiece's face could be the first element which jumps out to consumers, the Watch Observer reported.

That is because it not only displays the current hour and minute via two elegant hands, but Audemars Piguet, which has produced watches since 1875, has also designed four mini-dials, with each giving its own feature.

Each of these display the current day, date, month and moon phase, all of which are neatly designed to appear in the centre of the timepiece in a way which distinguishes each detail without causing packing too much in.

The reviewer of this watch gave it a score of 80 out of 100, noting: "Not only is the dial well balanced, but above all clear, thanks to the systematic use of registers rather than (sometimes) unsightly apertures."
