Accurist watches 'to charm TV audience'

First published: 17-11-2010

Watchmaker Accurist has announced that it is to run an advertising campaign to promote one of its luxury watch collections.

The Charmed by Accurist range will be getting the promotional treatment, which is said to run into the six-figure sum, according to Professional Jeweller.

Although the campaign began to run in September, watch fans are likely to see more of the timepieces, which are designed like beads or made to match up with this jewellery accessory.

This is because Accurist, which has been in the watchmaking business since 1946, will be ramping up the advertising in the next couple of months in the hope of attracting attention to this ideal Christmas present.

Included in the deal are promotions featuring in Grazia, Marie Claire and Sunday Times Style, as well as running a 40-day Living TV advertising campaign, which began on November 15th.

A spokesperson for Accurist commented: "This campaign will reinforce the message that Charmed means business this Christmas."
