A Lange and Sohne unveils new timepiece

Watch fans after extreme precision in telling the time may want to check out a new model from A Lange and Sohne.

Entitled the Richard Lange Tourbillon "Pour le Merite", the watch allows the wearer to set the time not by the minute, as in most products on the market, but instead to the second.

This is done because the tourbillon acts as the second indicator and can be stopped and altered at any point by simply pulling out the crown and spinning it to the desired position.

Another unique feature of this timepiece is how the hour indicator, which is found in a sub-dial towards the five o'clock location of the face and displayed in large Roman numerals, is partially hidden between eight and ten o'clock.

This is instead overtaken by another sub-dial, which allows consumers to view some of the inner workings of the watch.

A Lange and Sohne, which has been developing elegant timepieces since 1845, finishes this luxury watch off with a choice of rose gold or platinum designs.
