Launched to celebrate Louis Erard's 80th Anniversary, Excellence features mechanical complications with neo-classicism. The regulator is a deconstructed look at time, splitting the minutes, seconds and hours into individual dials to give easy reading. The fantastic movement allowing this is an ETA Peseux 7001 manual wound mechanical movement, that Louis Erard have reworked to add the regulator complication and power reserve. Bringing this detail to life, the movement is visible through the exhibition case back, showing off the decorated movement in all its glory including the beating heart, the escapement. Displaying this information on the dial uses blued hands, and crisp roman numerals on a silver guilloche patterned dial, housed in an elegant polished stainless steel case, with sapphire crystal over the dial and exhibition case back, and fastens on a black crocodile patterned genuine leather strap.
