The Lorus RXD425L8 is a good-looking, lightweight, practical and easy to read watch. It offers good value for money, and because of it's size, is good for those who have a smaller wrist size. It is the watch I wear every day. Solidily made, comfortable to wear - I rate this watch highly. (I have purchased 3 of these watches from Watch Shop and am very pleased with each my purchases.) Although the strap provided is adequate, I have removed it and fitted a NATO strap instead. Now a good watch looks even better!!

As this is my second purchase of this particular brand and type of watch, and having reviewed the first purchase, there is nothing further to add... These are super little watches, well made, functional and look good especially when fitted with a NATO strap.

Great looking 'field watch'; good size for slender wrist sizes. Lightweight watch, offering good crown protection, a clear uncluttered dial - which is very easy to read, together with excellent water resistance. This watch is not too expensive (reasonably priced budget watch) especially for a watch offering 100m water resistance.. The strap provided is reasonable quality (I have removed the strap and replaced it with a NATO strap- simply because I prefer a one piece watch strap.). Good all round watch to wear outdoors.

Almost the perfect budget field watch. A lightweight titanium case and fabric strap makes it very comfortable to wear. The 100m water resistance is more than adequate for general use (better than military issue G10 watches in fact, which usually have only 50m water resistance). And a reliable Seiko quartz movement.

I have only two minor quibbles (well three)

    1. Whilst the syringe hands, with black outline and luminova are very visible, the second hand has a reflective silver finish. This offers very poor contrast to the cream coloured dial. Either it catches the light and pops out, or it is almost invisible. A black or red second hand would have been much clearer and more in keeping with the aesthetic of a field watch.

    2. Although there is good luminova on the hands, there is none whatsoever on the dial, less than ideal for night visibility.

    3. Finally a pet peeve which is by no means specific to this watch but is common to almost all analogue watches marked with a secondary 24hr dial. The 12 o’clock position is marked 12 and 24 when it should be marked 12 and 00. You would think that watch makers of all people would know that midnight is at 00:00 hrs and there is no such thing as 24:00hrs. Oh well.

Good watch for the price, I didn't like the strap as supplied so have fitted a brown leather strap (18mm) and this looks great in the style of a field watch. If it came with a brown leather strap option that would make it 5* for me.

I was looking for an all purpose sport watch that could fit with everything and I found it. Very light and well made watch, with a titanium case and water resistance up to 100m. The strap is nice for a 40£ watch and it is changeable, of course if you had the tools. I'll suggest this watch to everyone, it is a bargain for the price.
