Functional AND Fun! Uber cool chunky black rubber strap locks down this man sized not silly sized watch with a classy blue face. Lock your self in a cupboard now - and check out its spooky glow in the dark bits. FAB.

Firstly this watch is lovely to look at in the light! but there are a couple of issues Ive had with the watch.
1. The time is extremely hard to read in low light or in dark.
2.The description claims that the watch is highly resistant to scratches but I had the watch for just under two months and already had a scratch. when I rang the watch shop, they said because its only scratch resistant they can not do anything about it.

Excellent product, unusual design with blue detail on black face. Details luminosity could be better as its difficult to read at night. However, its unusual style/design and colour more than make up for this. All positive comments received from friends.

Wenger PDG watch review

Please note that the blue watch is in fact a Patrouille Des Glacier (PDG) badged watch. Not the Swiss Raid Commando (SRC) that is the advertisement suggests.

Spent a couple of months deciding about this watch reviewing others before finally purchasing. There is little to nothing you can buy at this price that even comes close to the superior build quality and robust design.

This watch impresses you as soon as you open the box with its large face and subtle glacier blue dials, plus black PVD coated casing and rubber strap. I was dubious about the strap at first extremely concerned that it would cause sweating and irritation but thankfully due to its purposeful lattice interior design it has yet to pose any issues and maintains breath-ability comparable to a leather strap

The face is covered in an ever so slightly curved glass which may concern some, but note that due to its "commando" style and build, this is sapphire coated glass which is extremely tough second only to diamond! So expect no issues with scratches.

This watch also comes with Wengers 3 year guarantee in the box so rest assured you can rely on the quality of this highly regarded and well manufactured time piece.

The only downside I have experienced so far is that during low light it can be extremely difficult to read to blue on black dials. However, during the day these remain vibrant and clear

Overall an extremely understated watch that can be worn for all occasions.

Was looking for a watch for some time and fell in love with this time piece as soon as I saw it. When I first took it out of the box I was impressed by it's weight and build, but it did take some time to grow on me, because it was not gold or silver and it didn't shout brash, look at me or bling...The more I ware this watch is the more I want to ware it. It says understated, but attractive, quality craftsmanship and engineering. If I have one criticism it's that the florescent illumination of the face is not bright enough, but beyond that, what a it

Firstly choosing a watch is very difficult as I needed a watch to cover all occasions and activities. This is why after much deliberation I chose the Wenger Commando SRC Glacier Blue Chronograph as it seemed to tick all the boxes for me. Once I had received the watch I then knew I had made the right decision. The watch is quite a classic design with bright blue details to the face of the watch and the date window is offset to the four marker and gives a pleasant blue glow after dark. The watch has already proven its worth in just a few weeks after hiking in Europe and then down to the casino's in St Tropez. The Swiss movement is crisp and precise just as you would expect. There is nothing I don't like about this watch and hopefully it will see many years of service

Watch is really nice, well built and looks amazing when on! Wasn't too sure about it when I first got it but once it was on I was sure I made the right choice! Blue dials on the black was definitely the correct choice too! Could maybe see a black metal strap though looking nice, although the rubber strap is very thick and won't be falling off anytime soon!
