Mens Seiko Titanium Chronograph Watch SND449P1

This is the second Seiko Titanium watch Ive owned. It is very smart with gold embellished numerals and of course is light and not too big. As a chronograph it is naturally very accurate and the stop watch features are easy to use too. I am an active person and the watch gets wet and has had a few knocks, but this has not affected it at all. No need to remove it when swimming or showering! The only downside I have yet to meet is when it needs a new battery , as it will have to be sent off to be resealed to maintain the waterproofing and that I guess will cost a bit. But all things considered I am extremely pleased with the watch.

An excellent product, promptly despatched to a very helpful jeweller, who was extremely helpful in altering the wristband for a better fit.

Great watch - nice and light and very good looking too. Have had Seikos before and this is the best looking: not flashy but has character. As a chronograph I can be sure it will be accurate and will provide the stop watch functions I need.

Selected this Seiko watch as it looks good and feels slim, leaving it ideal for daily use. Titanium wristband and body are surprisingly light and practical, and battery power is handy if wearing an alternate watch occasionally. Titanium adds contemporary colour and blue pearl effect face quality to the watch. I was delighted when it arrived and felt it was excellent value. Watch Shop made the on-line buying experience very easy, and the watch was delivered well packaged in perfect condition bang on time!

Regarding the watch, after losing my first one exactly the same watch I opted to but the same one again. Its a lovely style that has a very professional look about it and is incredibly well made, looking more expensive than it actually is. Im one of those fussy people that looks at hundreds of watches before I buy, and chose this watch over those much pricier. If I had a few thousand mabye Id go for a much more prestigious watch but Id definitely say this was the best watch in the £100-£700 price bracket beating all of those in mho a few hundred quid more/

Fantastic watch! Im very happy with how quickly it arrived. The fit was perfect as I gave my wrist measurement with my order. The watch is titanium which really makes it feel light when you wear it. The only downside to a titanium watch is that titanium scratches easily so its worth considering this when buying this watch. I am very happy with it myself and love the way it looks. I highly recommend it.

Lovely dialled watch but a bit rickety in the strap and a little light weight for price

I bought this as a present to myself and after an awful lot of looking at different makes, models & designs I decided on the Seiko SND449P1. In addition to the price, confidence in the seller was extremely important and I have to say the watch, service and price offered by WATCHSHOP was excellent. They delivered on all their promises and more. The watch itself arrived within two days complete with the correct box, all the relevant paperwork and certificates. The watch itself immediately struck me with its fantastic design, look and quality. It is very easy to use and extremely light in weight due to being Titanium. Feedback from everyone who has seen the watch has commented on its quality and look and I have to say I get the feeling I will be wearing this watch for many years to come.

My first Seiko watch was a Seiko 5, since then I have always had Seiko watches and always will. Seiko movements are used by a lot of other watch manufacturers for a very good reason, that being, they are very good, this watch will be no different. Now back to my recent purchase, the only reason I bought this watch was that I fancied a change and decided to buy myself a Christmas present, and give my old Seiko to my grandson, these watches are made from titanium and will last for ever, my old one is 18 yrs old and looks like the day I bought it, has never gone wrong, so it will outlast me and maybe even my grandson, so you see why I buy Seiko.
I ordered the watch at 16:30 hrs on Wednesday 23 December, it arrived the next morning at 09:30 hrs by Royal mail, remember this was Christmas time, so all I can say is well done to Watchshop and to Royal Mail. The watch is exactly what I expected, the photographs represent a exact image of the watch, so you know when you get it, it looks exactly how you imagined it would, it was well package, came in a very nice presentation box, included in the box was a instruction booklet which I appreciate, as when you get a mobile phone, the instructions have to be downloaded from the internet. You will also get a confirmation card that guarantees it is a real Seiko, so dont be afraid of getting ripped off, as sometimes happens with internet purchases. It comes fitted with a battery so ready to wear straight away, if you need the strap adjusting, take it too there approved dealer and they will adjust it for free. I took mine to Northern Goldsmiths, they did the adjusting there and then, it took all of 10 Minutes, they even gave advice on that particular watch on expected battery life and how mush to change it, also on the cost of servicing etc.
Overall a excellent transaction, price was obviously a factor, Watchshop were the cheapest, plus free delivery and a promise of next day delivery, they keep you well informed on the delivery status of your watch, so if it a pressie for someone, you know you will be able to give to them when you intended,
what more could you ask for ? I would recommend Watchshop to anyone, buy from them with confidence.

Being a Seiko fan, I requested this watch for Xmas, so not able to review this particular watch until after 25th Dec, but expect it to perform as every Seiko I have worn since 1964. Total precision, accuracy and reliability.

I have worn Seiko watches for many years, and this striking looking chronograph doesnt disappoint. Classy gold detailing on the face, with a nice blue background.

Titanium construction means its light - and it doesnt feel as substantial as normal Stainless Steel items at first, but you get used to it. Be careful though - Titanium seems to scratch easily.

I bought this watch as a birthday present for my partner and he really likes it. The chain on the watch is so nice I thought it did look better than the picture shown. My partner loves it and I will recommend it to anyone looking for a present for their man.

This watch just screams style and class. It looks equally good dressed up with a suit or jeans and a casual shirt. I love the smokey grey strap and the blue watch face. It is a real mans watch that looks really solid but is light and comfortable to wear. I would definitely recommend this watch.

I spent months reviewing different watch designs, their funtionality, pricing, manufacturers materials and their brand image. This Seiko Titanium Chronograph surpassed all my needs. Probably like most men its the only piece of jewelery I would ever wear so its got to look just right whilst being totally reliable in a wet sport environment like sailing. When you get it from the Watch Shop you may need to take it to a jeweler to have a link removed. Only downside I can see is that the replacement battery which should be fitted properly by Seiko at around £35 sounds a bit pricey but they say the one that comes in the watch could last up to 5 years.

beautiful watch, the only bad thing i can say is if you look at the watch in low light its easy to confuse the makers name with the hands, and you need to look twice to confirm the time. the service, price and delivery from the supplier was faultless

This is a lovely watch. Its probably a bit smaller than the average chronograph but thats what attracted me to it in the first place, if you like huge chunky watches then this probably isnt for you. I also found the face very easy to read compared to my previous white faced Seiko which, with light coloured hands, made reading the time surprisingly difficult. Im very pleased with this watch.

I love the look of this watch. Thats what initially drew me to it. The clean,flowing lines of the bracelet to the face are just what I was looking for. The bracelt itself feels a bit light and insubstantial for a watch of this quality, but it does the job. Adjustment of all functions is easy and the face itself is bright and easily read. The chronograph function is very useful and also easy to use. Overall this watch appears to be of excellent quality and well worth the asking price.

what a fabulous light watch. had to remove 3 links from the watch, but this was easy enough. the pins just push out, remove link with pliers, then push back in. the style colour of the bracelet is a burnished silver grey, as i said with the bracelet being titanium it is very light. the blue is a dark blue, but this just makes the features stand out more. the stop watch function works fabulously & is very accurate. all in all i love this watch and it will hopefully last me a good number of years service. with it being battery driven then there is no need to worry about the watch winding down.
i highly recommend this watch for casual, everyday use.

I bought this as a gift for my Brother. It is a very smart watch, in a nice presentation box. Being titanium it is incredibly light, much more so than I was expecting. It also has a sapphire crystal face which is more hardwearing and prevents scratching. Have bought many Seiko watches in the past and all have been incredibly reliable.
