This is an Eco Drive chronograph watch with a perpetual calendar feature, plus local time and alarm. It has a normal crown wheel and two auxiliary buttons in the 2 o/c and 4 o/c positions. There are three small dials in the watch face, at 10 o/c there is a 24 hr display at 2 o/c there is the chronograph minute/fractional seconds counter at 6 o/c is the mode indicator. The display looks good but when you start to use the watch you find it is not very user friendly. Note there is no continuous second display apart from the large second hand so it is not possible see real time seconds and be in CHRONO mode since the watch and chrono share the same second hand. To change the mode from TIME to CHRONO you pull the crown out to the first click and rotate it until the mode indicator points to a CHR position. You cannot do this with the watch on the wrist so if you need to time anything you need to take the watch off - set it to CHR now losing the real time second hand - put the watch back on and press the button at 2 o/c to start the timer. The same button is used to stop and reset the timer. The only thing the button at 4 o/c does is to change from chrono minutes to chrono fractional seconds. These features are non intuitive and unlike every other chronograph I have owned. The 24 hr. display is next to useless and would be better as a 2 handed local time or alarm time display. The chrono dial is confusing because although chrono elapsed minutes are depicted around the edge the display is dominated by the fractional second display which, being decimal fractions of a minute has .25 at 3 o/c, .5 at 6 o/c, etc. - barking mad! The watch has a time elapsed bezel which is marked each minute up to 15 minutes then every 10 minutes thereafter - it only rotates one way. While bezels are arranged this way primarily for diving they are useful for other activities and I find it useful to use a bezel in a time to go mode. However, this watch bezel does not support this use because t do so the bezel needs single minutes all the way around and preferably should rotate either way. If you want a good looking watch that once set will keep good time and never need a battery this is a good product. If you need to use the chronograph elements buy a different watch.

Love at first sight! Im extremely satisfied with my purchase, more than expected. This watch looks even better in reality than in the photos. I love the matt titanium finish. I honestly think this is one of the best looking watches Ive seen, easily comparable to much much more expensive watches. I was slightly worried about the 15mm height but it does not feel chunky, it looks and feels great on my arm.

The quality feel is very high with the all titanium body and bracelet. However, I dont find it extra-ordinary light as some people say, but then I havent worn many stainless steel watches either. The buttons are alright, but I rarely use them. The hands and dial has a nice but slightly dim glow in the dark, always easy to read though.

I have worn this watch daily for about one month now and there is not a single scratch on the titanium parts or on the crystal glass. Its not sapphire crystal, but it does seem very hard nevertheless. I hope it will stay scratch-free for a long time to come.

The main reasons why I bought this watch are:

All titanium - for low weight, durability and lovely matt finish.
The looks - picture say it all but reality is even better
Solar powered - no need for battery replacements, ever.
200m water-resistance - not gonna dive with it, but still..
Local time mode - very convenient as I often travel between two time-zones.
Perpetual calendar - no need to adjust calendar every month.
5 year guarantee - doubt I will have to use it though.

Other functions are alarm and chronograph, but Im not using those as my mobile does a much better job at that.

The watch has gained about 8 seconds in one month specified accuracy is ±15sec/month, so I think the accuracy is fairly good.

Lastly I just want to say Im very satisfied with my purchase from Watch Shop, the delivery to Sweden was faster than I expected.

A smart looking watch that is chunky and interesting enough to be worn on casual occasions as well. My main concern when looking at the specs was that it is 15mm deep, but this works very well with the design and it doesnt feel overly chunky when youre wearing it.

Weight:
The first time you hold one it will take you by surprise. I thought it felt a bit cheap the first time I held one, because it was so light, but I think it must have just been due to me not expecting it, because the second time and since owning one, it feels perfect.

Bezel:
The bezel is very nicely designed, it looks good wherever youve got it rotated to. It has a little bit of springiness to it which I didnt particularly like at first, but it does mean that it is easy to rotate even with one finger, but doesnt move out of place when knocked.

Chronograph:
The chronograph is easy and fun to use and read. My only issue with it is that after 60 minutes it stops rather than resetting to 0 and continuing - which along with the bezel, would allow for timing things up to 12 hours rather than 1.

Alarm:
As others have said, the alarm is a little quiet. However this can have its advantages, for instance, if you want to remember something during the working day but dont want to be that one in the office with the annoying beeping watch that always catches you when you dont want to hear it.

Local Time:
The watch can keep track of a second time, set in hour intervals difference from the main time. The alarm feature of the watch can only be set against the main time, not local time.

Time keeping:
I set it against the UK speaking clock dial 12345 from your phone a couple of weeks ago, and going by the same source it has gained about 1/2 a second since then.

Bracelet:
Superb bracelet, easy to adjust and does not pinch or catch.

Clasp:
Spot on. Easy to quickly fasten & take off. Allows for quick adjustment in thirds up to the equivalent of about one link on the bracelet chain, incase your wrist decides to change size during the day.

Face:
Easy to read and never gets boring to look at. Also easy to read in the dark - the hands, numbers, and zero-point dot on the bezel glow very well and are a nice bluish-green colour that doesnt look tacky the bezel dot is slightly greener, separate from the numbers/hands, which gives the watch even more character.

Id never owned a Citizen before this one but having now had it for a few weeks I know it wont be my last. It feels great on my wrist and looks really classy with many positive comments already received. Titanium, solar power plus all its features mean this watch is the mutts nuts. Great service from Watch Shop to boot.

We bought this fantastic watch for our sons 16th birthday. It is titanium so its light and has sapphire glass so is fairly bomb proof. Its perfect in that it is robust enough for him to wear as a timepiece whether hes at school or going through the paces at Army Cadets but it still looks classy and stylish at the same time. Excellent purchase and hes over the moon too.

A very stylish and classic design that will age well and not look dated.
As an Aircrew Paramedic I find the watch is robust enough to withstand the rigours of my working environment whilst being easy to read, even in low light, and maintaining accurate time. Plus the black face and titanium case and bracelet compliment each other well, meaning it does not look out of place in social or more formal occasions.
The fit is very comfortable to wear, the bracelet not pinching or pulling at all. Whilst the weight is comfortably reassuring without being overbearing. The perpetual calendar and eco-drive mean there is no on-going fuss at the end of each month or when the batteries run out.
I found understanding the various settings fairly easy once I had been through the instructions.
The alarm is quite quiet and only lasts for 15 seconds. Which means it probably wouldn't be much use in a loud environment or as a wake up alarm if you are a heavy sleeper!
All in all a very good watch at a reasonable price that should last a lifetime.
