I bought one of these models about fifteen or twenty years ago, it is still going strong as you can see from the photos, and still keeping excellent time. Ive changed the battery two or three times in that period and had it serviced once. The only deterioration over time has been the luminosity, it fades almost immediately, as one might expect, time catches up with us all.
The old one was, and is, very tough. I replaced the black strap with an after-market, stainless steel one, purely from personal preference. I have used it on many scuba-dives around the World without any problem. The mineral glass face and the stainless steel case are very tough and the omni-directional bezel still retains its positive clicks through-out its entire rotation. The old watch has the red and blue bezel, easy to set decompression time when diving. Whereas the new watch has an all black bezel that I actually prefer. Why change, you might ask, if the old one is still going strong?
Well, the main reason was the luminosity, secondly, I had grown tired of looking at the red and blue bezel, Im fickle that way.
The new watch seems fractionally slimmer, and the rubber strap is thinner than the older model, but seems, as yet, very comfortable. The luminosity on the new watch is much brighter, the mineral glass and case just as tough and the new bezel still has those positive clicks through-out its range of rotation. For the price I think it is a great watch to buy, very accurate and I wouldnt have any hesitation in recommending it to anyone. It looks very smart on the wrist, so you can wear it with a suit, yet is tough as old boots, so you can wear it as an every day watch without qualm. One tiny point I would change, is the crown. In my opinion it is a little small and fiddly to use when you need to adjust the date for odd days in the month, other than that I think it is perfect, five out of five.

I love this watch. Really neat and compact for a 200m resist watch, which are normally v clunky and chunky. So good to wear every day as well as in the water. Strap was a little stiff at first: dont be put off it moulds gradually and is very comfortable a couple of weeks in.

Excellent product, already tested it to 150m and worked perfectly. Happy with the dials for clarity and the strap is extremely comfortable

Already done this, but so pleased with the watch will do again!

My wife ordered the watch as a gift for me. She obviously know me very well as it was exactly what I wanted. The service received from the Watch shop was extremely good. According to my wife it arrived on time and she had requested gift wrap which was very nicely done. Thank you, hopefully I will have many years of use from my divers watch

Ok so this is my first purchase from watchshop but definitely not my last. The watch is much smaller in reality then in the pictures or at least that was my impression, and i have a 7 inch wrist.

Pros :
- Solid unidirectional bezel, turns with a loud thump, minor play, virtually impossible to move by mistake.
- Lightweight, solid, robust case - polished back, crown and sides, brushed front shoulders.
- Clasp and holders near it are robust.
- Looks great overall, crisp and easy to read dial.
- Quartz mechanism is silent and the second hand, day/date line up perfectly.

Cons :
- The rubber strap is ok, nothing more nothing less, seems flexible enough and durable. (Lug with is 20mm)
- Strap has a reasonable amount of play near lungs and make a ticking noise when you twist the strap ... seems cheap (can't expect much for this price). This is not a biggie as you can easily replace it with an aftermarket strap.
- Bezel is flush with the crystal so it offers no scratch protection.

All in all i am happy with my purchase and would recommend the watch, but next time i will go for something a bit bigger. 4/5

As for Watchshop ... highly recommended ... neat packaging, fast delivery and great services 5/5.

I break watches. The last decent one I've owned was one of the old Casio G-shocks which survived ten years of climbing, sailing and decorating. Unfortunately the new ones are rubbish - I've just broken two.

This Citizen Divers Watch appears to be machined from solid stainless steel with a screwed on back and a crystal glass. It looks good enough to wear with a suit and is accurate to less than a third of a second per week.

I'd be surprised if it doesn't outlast me.

Bought one of these 15 years ago for the same price that you charge, so you obviously do a good deal. Watch was really great, never let me down. After about 10 years, it ran out of battery. I went to a reputable dealer who changed the battery and resealed it for only £15 and I sold it on ebay for £48. What an absolute bargain. If you dont want to spend silly money on a TAG Heuer, then just get one of these, they are 200m water tested, have a one way rotating bezel, rock hard scratch resistant glass face and built like a brick outhouse just like a Tag/ Rolex/ Breitling/ Omega for the price of the average persons daily wage..!!
