Great product and as described. Fast delivery with no fuss. It's got all the features I require without any of the useless ones. My only issue is with the strap that may degrade over time but can be d.

Pleased with the purchase of the Casio G-Shock GW-M5600-1ER. Everything what I expected, solar power, atomic radio - setting the time everyday, very light and comfortable to wear.

I have always wanted a G Shock watch and this one is perfect as it is pretty much identical to the ones made in the 80's, but with new features such as radio controlled time zones and solar panel technology so it never needs a battery.

Very happy with my purchase.

opend the box and it was working, set up the atomic reciver and the time corrected overnight,

the backlight comes on just long enough with a lift action to look at the watch

G-Shock GW-M5600-1ER rugged electronic watch with quite standard function set like – word time, stopwatch, countdown timer, few alarms, hourly signal and also few not so standard functions like auto calibration via radio signal, ability to recharge battery using sunlight, power saving function. I bought this watch not because I need something that durable, but because I just like my items apocalypse-proof. Watch itself really feels capable of surviving what every day usage can throw at it and more. In my opinion weakest part of this watch might be clasp as it seems like it won’t survive WERY strong pulling. Speaking about auto calibration – even though I live almost on edge of coverage manual radio calibration worked fine (watch showed that signal is weak but calibration succeeded) but I decided to keep it turned off since watch itself is so accurate that there is no need to keep that on automatic mode all the time, and I can calibrate it manually whenever I want. What I really like about this watch is ability to recharge battery using sunlight and power saver function. Sunlight recharging grants I won’t need to waste money to change battery and it won’t die unexpectedly – it shows how much battery remains. Power saver function turns off display at night (only if watch is in dark and not being moved) and turns display on if watch is moved, I decided to keep this on to save even more battery power. Watch has alarm that is loud enough to warn you about something but if you are heavy sleeper it might not be enough to wake you up. Watch seems to have only one thing that I would change – there is some text over solar panel. I see no point in that specific text and it only obscures sunlight, what’s more they could have made that sun battery wider instead putting black space there. All in all watch is perfect for everyday usage, travels, and adventures. Highly recommended.

This is the first digital watch I've ever bought and it is an absolute corker.

Easy to set up, easy to read, easy to use and super accurate. What else could you ask from a watch ?

I ordered this incredibly watch because I already want to give it to a friend and I have just bought it throught the Watch Shop websyte because the price and I like a lot this Site because is very clear to buy and because it make a following item that tells you in wich state your item is and when you navigate throught this websyte when you put the cursor on an item it zooms it so you can see it with more detail.

I bought this watch to replace another model (G-2900F-1VER) which I had for six years before the "ten-year" battery gave out. (To my annoyance, it was going to cost me almost as much to have the battery replaced as it did to buy the watch in the first place.)

This watch lacks some of the features of my old one - there is no data storage facility, the countdown timer can be set only in 1 min increments up to one hour and has no repeat function, the alarms (five of them) cannot be set to go off on specific dates. However, I don't think I'll miss them that much, and this watch is pleasingly slim and lightweight. I found the traditional chunky G-shock watches irritatingly heavy, so much that I would take it off if sitting at my desk typing for long periods. The display is rather cluttered, but at least with useful information rather than the blinking symbols that feature on so many G-shock models and seem to have no function whatsoever. The date is in the American format (month followed by date), which is irritating. The buttons are small and recessed and have to be pressed with the edge of a fingernail, making operations a rather fiddly, hit-and-miss affair. I wouldn't be confident of using it to decide the outcome of an important race or event (particularly down to the ridiculously precise 1/100th second that all stopwatches seem to feature these days). The alarm is quieter than that of any watch I have owned. I fear I might miss it if it is hidden under clothing when I am out on a busy street, although it has managed to wake me up in the mornings so far without fail. It picks up the daily auto-correct time signal without any trouble, so is never more than half a second out. The battery is supposed to remain topped up by incident light on the watchface, and so never need replacing. The charge has never dipped below "high", but I have yet to see if it will outlast its predecessor.

So overall I'm very pleased with it, particularly its size and appearance. Suggestions to Casio for improvements: Have one louder wakeup alarm, and more prominent buttons (particularly one for stopwatch operations).

The product was exactly as descirbed within the description on the webpage. The product itself is a gift for my partner who is a fan of the G-Shock watches. The only issue I had with this product is that the back of the watch face is not engraveable as it has manufacturers markings on the back.
