Its a good solid watch as you would expect for a g-shock. The sensor on the left stick out little bit too much. But otherwise a good watch

Had a G-shock before and very happy so I was hoping I wasnt going to be disappointed this time round. Im not! One week into wearing the watch and Im finding it hard to find fault. Brilliant clear digital display with easy to read function buttons, the strap is as tough and hard wearing as they said it would be with no unwanted movement around the buckle area and surprisingly it isnt to heavy which is remarkable given the robust chunky appearance. Im looking forward to getting the most of the many functions as time goes on.
If Im being picky Id say the light button is tough to locate when just reaching for it in the dead of night as it is almost flush with the face needs to be more pronounced.
In summary a great watch if youre active and out and about as this will take on the elements and anything you care to subject it to. That isnt to say its not nice to look at, because if you leave it on instead of putting your dress watch on when you go out partying it wont look out of place.

Just recently received my G shock Riseman, the watch is not as big as I thought it would be which suits me better because I dont have large wrists. The watch is very well constructed and feels much better and smooth compared to the cheaper classic models in the G shock range. The band is very comfortable and the light push button is made from steel and not plastic like the usual G shocks. Also I found the watch quite easy to set up as the manual is easy to understand. I have had lots of different G shocks and this model will be one of my regular choices to wear. regardless if your a watch collector or just looking for a watch that can take a beating and still keep going the Riseman is a perfect choice.

Great Watch. Solar power may not be the greatest idea for the British weather, however I managed to get the battery charged to full over only a few days in september

I thought the best feature of the watch was it being radio controlled coz when i go abroad i dont have to worry about changing the time when im in a rush. Also the fit is perfect. The face is not to big for my wrist either and it doesnt feel like i have a watch on my wrist although you can still feel that its still there so dont worry. The watch is also easy to put on and take off with its double fastener. The colour is nice too.

As a fan of Casio G-Shock´s this is my second one. My first one was model DW-8950 witch is still working very well after all this years but needed replacement because the resin outer case is not in very good shape. About the Riseman i am very pleased with it. Before i made the purchase i made some research looking for a watch worthy of replacing my old G-shock and that had all the functions that i wanted. After some intense research i decided for the Riseman, because it had everything i was looking for my new watch. Better than the Riseman i only found the Rangeman model GW-94001ER recently started to be selling worldwide. The only reason i didn´t go for the Rangeman was because it was over my budget. The Riseman is ideal for the kind of life i have. I´m a military and i also like to do a lot of sports activity and hiking, camping. The Riseman is also very good for survivalist activity witch i´m a big fan, so this watch fits perfectly in my life style. The things that i like less in this watch is the accuracy of the barometer graph and the thermometer and the altimeter. The barometer graph because sometimes it shows incoherent dots on the graph, not the smooth line i was expecting. Maybe this happens because i live in an island which is very windy most of the time and it has a lot of elevations and very often we have the four stations of the year in one day! And i also do a lot of movement from one side to the other and this has effects on the barometer sensor. The thermometer because if i want to have an accurate reading of the ambient temperature i have to take of the watch from my wrist and leave it there for about 20 minutes. The altimeter because it is affected by the barometer variations and it only shows altitude in 5 meters steps/increments. Anyway in general i like very much this watch not only for the functions but also for the visual look witch is very nice and also is not bulky has some other watch´s in this category.

watch was bought as a present for my brother, he is an action man, and wanted a watch that would automatically up date time zones, waterproof up to 100m this goes to 200m!. It is a fab watch that has style and it looks after itself, it is excellent value for money, and as my bro says if you are going to do anything serious this is the watch to be wearing! He is blown away by it, and as he travels around the world he doesnt have to worry about time.

Brilliant watch, looks good, fantastic features, no hassle at all as its solar powered and the time is set by radio sinal. This means its telling the right time straight out of the box! I love G Shock and have had many over the years, this is as high quality. Watch as all the others have been.

Great watch, great price. Bought as a present for my boyfriend, hes had casio watches before but has never had one with this many features. I wasnt sure if hed like it or not but he did. Its not as bulky and large as watches similar to this, so fits nicely on smaller arms.

Key features that my boyfriend likes - altimeter, backlight, temperature reader Even though this is usually out by about 5 degrees because of the impact of bodyheat.
Negatives - only negative Id say is that the instruction booklet is massive and there doesnt seem to be an easy, get started guide. For the people who want to play with their new toy, having to read a manual might be annoying and frustrating.

The GW-9200 Riseman from the Casio G Shock range is probably one of the finest watches within the range, the size, comfort while wearing and functions are second to none and for the price its a must have, I have a range of G-Shocks as well as some more prestige brands, but the Riseman is the one I ware most, all in all very pleased with my purchase.

The Mens Casio G-Shock Wave Ceptor Riseman Alarm Chronograph Watch or C.G.W.C.R.A.C.W as I like to call it, is an awesome watch. It has all the plethora of functions youd never use and I would say that James Bond wears this watch when hes not in the movies, but this watch actually wear James Bond as an accessory.

Not only does it look good, but its also practical too. Like when I take my summer diving trips to Loch Ness, I have no more worries that I am going to miss tea-time back on the boat, because water ruined my watch again. It can withstand the immense pressures of the deep due to the badness of the Japanese build quality. Im sure even bullets cant beat this. Hell, I could probably deflect cruise missiles and the apocalypse with this on. With a watch like this you dont need to tell time, you tell people what time it is.

If you can afford it, Id suggest buying two so you put them both in a cage and watch them fight for your love.

If youre like me youll have done a bit of investigating before you buy this or any other watch. There are many reviews and they all say pretty much the same thing: This is a great watch and depending on your point of view is not too much cash!

Barometer works well as does the Altimeter. These functions do rely on you being within a general local for priods of time to be most helpful, over long periods the Altimeter is unreliable as this is calculated from the barometric pressure but is good if you set a reference altitude in the morning and go hiking/climbing for the day. Likewise if you drive 200 miles the barometer will show a change, especialy if you have been up and down hill etc.

The other functions of the Riseman are pretty standard. not much you can say about a stopwatch etc.

Solar charging is great, as is the Multi-band 6 signal once a day, keeps thing running sweet.

Looks-wise everything is as youd expect. I work with a giant of a man who wears a Suunto Core which drowns my 7.5 wrist but even though the Riseman looks a chunky beast its nowhere as massive as it looks on its own in many images.

I also looked at: Casio Frogman too much money, Casio Gulfman doesnt look half as asthetic, Casio Mudman great features that Id never use.

Bottom line: If you want a tough, good looking timepeice, you cant go very wrong with the Riseman. buy it and youll be happy you did.

I am very pleased with my purchase of a Casio G-Shock Ceptor (GW-9200-1ER). It keeps PERFECT time. I have just returned from a weeks sailing and the barometer gave me a constant on changing air-pressure, and therefore a good guide to forthcomung changes in the weather (and was always in tune with the Shipping Forecast!). To get the best out of the altimeter you do need to set your own measurement from a known reference point, but for the outdoor enthusiast this is a very good and sophisticated watch - and ordering on-line from the Watch Shop worked very well and efficiently.

Watch yourself pleased, first of all, they are not particularly large, not very thick, the size is acceptable. Second, please materials, the cover made of metal, mineral glass, plastic good. Thirdly, this watch looks interesting and seems like the middle is the cylinder, the edges of which are beyond the scope of the case. Head bolt, the sensor is not hidden, it adds a charm. Plastic strap has perforated, it is necessary not only for beauty, using these same holes you fasten the clasp. As for the durability and stability. It is clear, right in the very first day I started throwing watches as soon as possible and wherever you can. Thrown from the fifth floor, even in the snow. Can you imagine hours of stand! Model G-Shock, is fully capable of withstanding heavy loads, it is unlikely anything will happen to the clock, even if it comes a heavy adult man. Not removing them can take a shower. They can withstand pressures up to twenty-bar, you can dive two hundred meters. The buttons are comfortable, bright lighting, the inclusion of automatic I do not use, just like the action - pressed the button, small screen and caught fire. Alarms are five pieces, you can also include hourly signal. And, most importantly, is a function of Snooze, I mean its an alarm clock that plays, giving you a little nap. Responsibly declare: You can wake up even if you are very tired so went to grab a couple of hours. Peep the clock is not very loud. But the piercing. Ugly :). They want to shut down and did not want to hear. :) That is why you get up. Barometer. Measures pressure, displays a graph of the display. Low - everything is clear, the temperature is measured near the clock (with a dial, I think) and then displayed. You can in ° C can be in Fahrenheit. In my view, the error is small. Meal hours are from the sun and the clear light bulbs. That is, it is quite self-contained device that is essentially timeless. They are perfect for casual clothes. And even under a jacket. Have I the pleasure? Yes, definitely. Yes, I almost did not take them, actually.

Mens Casio G-Shock Wave Ceptor Riseman Alarm Chronograph Watch GW-9200-1ER - my first purchase in WATCHSHOP™. When ordering made a small mistake but the sellers store supported me and helped me for what they are separate special thanks for this.
We proceed directly to the watch. The legendary series of G-Shock Casio company. About this series is legendary. The basis of a series of leaks is put at 20 atmospheres. Protection against impact, dirt, frost. Glass recessed into the body and it is to reduce the likelihood of mineral to scratch it. Tough solar, barometer, thermometer, altimeter, multiple alarms, a stopwatch - all the advantages of a long list of those hours. Very convenient to lay on hands, lungs, are not felt on his hand in practice. I recommend this watch for people leading active lifestyles. You will always have on hand a modern multi-function gadget that will not let you in difficult times or difficult conditions.

This is my first G-Shock - wish that I had not waited so long. All the features are as described and work without any problems. Despite all the tips on positioning the watch to ensure that you can get the auto , I have not experienced any problems even when I have left it in my bag surrounded by metal items _ might help that I live only 30 miles from the UK transmitter!! Although it looks chunky, it does not appear so on the wrist and it looks good. It is light and doesn't snag on shirt/coat cuffs so I don't notice that I am wearing it.

I bought the Casio Riseman G Shock watch, my first G Shock. I've always been a fan of ABC-T watches (altimeter, barometer, compass and thermometer). This watch has all but the compass. It's fantastic and not as chunky looking as you think. The readings are fairly accurate, which is what to expect from these devices. It's waterproof to 200m which is plenty for an average joe like myself and with it being a G Shock, it'll take all kinds of everyday punishment, plus more! A recommended buy!

I was a bit worried that this watch would be a bit big and look a bit stupid on my skinny little wrists, luckily it is only slightly bigger than a standard G-Shock and looks pretty good. The design and build quality are excellent, although I was a bit disappointed with the accuracy of the altimetre; I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, but in my house the reading ranges from -5 to 140 metres. This turns out to be a standard problem for altimetre watches, there is lots more information on this issue if you Google "riseman altitude accuracy".

Casio has done an excellent job in designing this watch. The light button is made of steel as is the sensor on the left side of the watch. There has been speculation as to whether the sensor would protrude out enough to make the watch uncomfortable to wear on the right arm. Although I wear my watches on the left, I tested this theory and found that the sensor did not diminsih comfort when worn on the right. The strap on the watch is similar in design and comfort of the Mudman G9000, which is a very comfortable strap. A big improvement on the strap's design is that Casio solved the problem of the strap slipping out of the strap keeper. This was acheived by producing a raised area located on the tip of the strap. In addition to being raised, the area is grooved and creates a firm grip.
There is a red button located on the right side of the watch that is used to enter the Altimeter Mode. For those not entralled with red buttons, the button is actually recessed which greatly reduces its noticeability.
The watch adjusts its time setting automatically by receiving calibration signals transmitted from 6 locations around the globe: Germany, England, the United States, Japan (2 locations) and China. The Riseman GW9200 is the first in the G-Shock line offering the capability of receiving a signal from China, thus the designation of Multi-Band 6. The watch will attempt to receive a calibration signal up to 5 times per day, however once a signal is successfully received it will not attempt to receive any additional signal for that day. The watch offers the option to manually receive a calibration signal at will by the touch of a button.
The Altimeter function measures altitude via two options: through the watch's sensor that measures barometric pressure, or via a reference point that you enter that subsequent measures are based on. The manual describes the reference point option as, "When mountain climbing, you can specify a reference marker along the way or altitude information from a map." "After that, altitude readings produced by the watch will be more accurate than they would without a reference altitude." Other feautes in the Altimeter Mode are an altitude graph that shows measurement results, an altitude stopwatch that lets you track and store altitude ascent/descent for a specified time. I have not had the opportunity to significantly test this feature, however based upon Casio's success of this technology in other proven watches, I am confident of the accuracy of this feature.
The watch measures air pressure/ barometric pressure and temperature. In watches using module 3147, temperature can be measured in either celsius or fahrenheit. Module 3145 measures in celsius only. I have found one of the most useful features of the watch is the barometric graph that is displayed in the red circle ("red eye"). This graph is displayed not only in the Barometer Mode, but is also constantly displayed while in the Timekeeping Mode. One can also switch from the barometric graph to a barometric pressure indicator signal that shows an arrow pointing in different directions depending on the rise and fall of barometric pressure. I have watched this graph closely since purchasing the watch and have found it astonishingly accurate. For instance, when explaining the features of this watch to my wife she asked about the barometric graph. At that time the graph was angling downward from left to right, signaling that there was a deteriorating weather trend. She asked if the forecast for our area called for rain and I reluctantly told her it had not. However, I woke in the middle of the night to the sound of rain. Very impressive. I have always had an affinity for weather and as a result I am quite fond of this feature.
The Riseman offers World Time displayed in 33 cities (29 time zones) around the globe with an auto daylight savings time feature. Other features include: 4 alarms, a snooze alarm, an hourly time signal, Auto EL, power saving mode, stopwatch and a 24-hour contdown timer.
This watch is packed with features, therefore this review only touches the surface of the watch's full capability. My opinion is that the Riseman GW9200 is constructed very well, is extremely comfortable to wear and offers a magnificent number of features. It is not merely a matter of whether you want this watch, you need this watch!

During looking for reviews and watches online, I haven't come across a complete review which could tell me both about the product features and also how it fits into the life. Therefore I am including as much information as possible to help my fellow CASIO GSHOCK RISEMAN enthusiasts to help them make the right decision.

A couple of weeks back on a Saturday afternoon I was sitting at the dentist for a regular checkup browsing a couple of magazines when I came across the new CASIO GHOCK series. I was amazed by the features and functionality of the new series. The same day I browsed many watch comparison sites, and online marketplaces such as Amazon, ebay, et al but I turned down most of the watches as they had most of the features but 99% were too big to be worn on a regular use.

Finally I came across CASIO GSHOCK RISEMAN on a search engine and ended up reading about their features and it seemed to tick all my boxes:
- Solar Powered
- Should go over 6 months with a single full charge (considering the amount of sunlight we get in London, UK) and this one goes to around 9 months between charges.
- Charge level indicator (yes, and it has three levels that clearly tell you if it is (L)Low, (M)Medium or (H)High)
- Tough Watch, can take on a lot of bumps
- Altimeter + Barometer
- Multiple time zones option (as I travel across the globe due to work) with a single button
- Temperature sensor
- Additional Sensor for helping all the sensors work more accurately
- Stopwatch
- Light (on the G button)
- Power Saving function which works great and the watch goes to sleep to save power when I am not wearing it and just comes to life the moment I take it out from the drawer.
- And most of all, all these wonderful features rolled up into a neat and wonderful design that looks just perfect on my wrist (this is why I turned down most of the other watches as they were too big to be worn on a regular basis).

Due to its beautiful design and classy feel, This watch goes great with my Jacket and Ties and complement my Jeans and a smart shirt equally well. I go to dinner parties as well as go out to play football in the rain with the lads wearing this one.

I love watches and want them to be as sturdy as life itself and be there when I need it. This watch is just that. I sometimes even sleep with this on but haven't even had a stiff wrist. In fact this watch is even on my wrist right now while writing this review.

When I ordered this watch from Watchshop, it arrived as agreed on the website on the final confirmation page and came in a nice round tin branded in Casio's Golden tin for GSHOCK and shouts quality in the packaging as well.

PS. I am much more than happy with my purchase and looking forward to go cave diving later this year to test myself and my RISEMAN in the cold and deep waters.
So you have a thumbs up on this from my side.

I am also including an image to show how good it looks on my wrist. It seems as if the strap has been tailor-made for my wrist.

i recently bought a G Shock Riseman, this watch has some fantastic features inc barometer with two hourly air pressure trend graph, an altimeter telling your hight above sea level with recording which will tell you your Max,Min,ave and total hieghts great for a mountain climb.five alarms and world time.Stop watch and countdown timer, and temp.Plus an auto light to view the info in low light. All the features are very useful for day to day use and are easy to scroll through. The style of the Riseman is chunky without being too large and also this watch is not too heavy either. The time on the Riseman is d every six hours so the time is always spot on even with daylight saving also the battery lasts for over 7 years as the watch is solar powered. The Riseman is everything i want from a watch and if you are a keen outdoor person it will be perfect for you.
I cant think of anything i dislike about the G Shock Riseman i im one very very happy customer :)

This watch was bought as a gift for my dad's 50th birthday, so it had to be something special. He is a Fireman and an everyday watch had to go through a very gruelling check list - this one ticked EVERY box and more, its hard to believe a watch that was descibed by a previous review as "bomb proof" and have all the extra gadgets (which my dad loves) and still be a good size, but not too big and chunky. I was a bit nervous waiting for it to come home as I imagined this to be huge - NOT SO! Very sleek, stylish and above all a perfect gift! The service I received here was also second to none!

I love the watch, as I love most G Shocks from the Master of G series.
Tough, accurate and waterproof.
First I wanted the all black version, but it is for sale in Europe, and when so, you pay too much for it.
So the original Riseman was the second, but great choice.
I already bought my wife the grey military version of the Riseman, but that one has no multiband.
Next should be the Frogman, for nice price.

Amazing value too in comparison to buying on the high street.

Riseman 9200 (the module 3147) is on sale in special can packing. The instruction by o'clock goes only in one language - English.

Certainly, designers Casio have done huge work that watch have turned out with such interesting appearance. The illumination button consists of pure metal, as also the special gauge on the left side of hours. Convex lateral elements of the gauge in any way do not disturb to comfortable use of professional hours.

The thong, as a rule, has property to sweat, as does its slippery. Owing to sliding, the thong rest jumped out from the control holder, but developers have found the decision of this problem - they have made a tip more thickly, and a top have made corrugated. Thus the thong will be strong fixed in the position and will not escape anywhere.

On the right side of hours there is a red button which is used for mode activation altimetr. The gear surface on the button promotes convenient pressing that is very important, after all hours are intended for use in extreme conditions. Even despite bright red colour, the button it is difficult to notice at you on a hand.

Both modules show excellent characteristics. Current time is displayed always, despite a mode which you use at present (except высотомера). In a mode of usual display of current time it is necessary to notice a scale in “a red eye”. On a scale the behaviour of the barometric gauge is displayed, and you can already expect the future weather. Day of week, date, year, the indicator of a charge of the battery, the indicator of force of reception of a nuclear signal - all it is displayed in a usual mode. It is possible to draw a conclusion that the most important indicators will be always at you before eyes.

Hours receive signals of nuclear time in 6 places of our planet: Germany, England, the USA, Japan (2 stations) and China. Riseman GW9200 is first model of ruler G-Shock which can accept signals in China. Hours will be synchronised to 6 times a day but if the first synchronisation has passed successfully, it will be enough on all the day. You also have a possibility of manual adjustment of a radio signal by means of the special button.

Altimetr measures height by means of two options: the barometric gauge (atmospheric pressure) or through a special basic reference point which will be based from the set mark. As a matter of fact, the technology altimetr Casio, at present, is considered most exact of all possible (such plan).

Hours show the information on atmospheric/barometric pressure and temperatures. A barometric scale in “a red eye” - one of the most important and useful functions. This schedule is displayed not only in a barometric mode, but also in the usual. Also it is possible to be switched from function of the barometric schedule in function of barometric pressure to look at change of pressure depending on height. The information on temperature can sometimes not coincide with the validity. Is as well function of world time (33 cities and 29 hour zones). It is not necessary to forget and about technology of day savings of a food. Other important characteristics: 4 alarm clocks, 1 with function to "doze", ежечасовое the alarm notification, automatic electroluminescent illumination, function of savings of a food, a stop watch and the timer of return readout of time.

These are especial hours with tremendous characteristics. Design Riseman GW9200 - is presented perfectly well, and you take pleasure in use of these professional hours

I really have been looking for a gift. I've reviewed a huge number of sites but never found what I was boring: What would be consistent with price and quality. And here on this site I found what she was looking! Today, donated these wonderful watches. How many of delight: the husband wanted to just such, he travels a lot and watches will be his guiding star. In watches everything you need: altmetr, watch shows temp., they do not need batteries (charge comes from the sun) is what is needed for every traveler. The husband was very happy and I gave a lot of fun to see how he was happy and that I divined his wishes. Dreams Come True! Thank you.

The main reason I bought the watch was for the altimeter.

However its resolution is to within 5m (+-2.5 m ?) which is very poor. And even if you calibrate it with a known height, which improves the absolute accuracy, it will still only give you a poor reading within 5 m at best.

I intended to use it for caving so its of very limited use, since you need more accuracy. Even on the hills you would be better using a GPS for altitude than the watch, since it depends on pressure changes.

The solar power feature appears to be its best feature, overall, it has all the other "watch" features as expected.

I should have bought another model since this fails to perform as I would want it too, very dissapointing.

Pros:

This is the coolest watch on the planet ever!

Apart from all of the main features like Altimeter, Berometer, etc... it also has an auto backlight feature which illuminates the watch when you angle it towards your face whenever it is dark enough!

It is very comfortable to wear and doesn't look as bulky and awkward as you might think.

Really easy to use; it takes about a day to familiarise yourself with all of the controls/functions.

The battery lasts a very long time on a decent charge in the sunlight.

There are also many alarms and timers, for example, I have different alarms for different start times each day of the week for university (there are 5 alarms, i.e mon-fri), I use the stopwatch for running/training, and I have the countdown timer set to 3 minutes for boiling eggs! lol, it really is that simple to use and very functional/useful.

Cons:

The sensor on the left side of the watch seems a little delicate, as if it might damage, dent, or even break if you knocked it hard enough which kind of defeats the point of a G-Shock (I could be well wrong about this but I am unwilling to find out). I'm sure it is just as tough as the rest of the watch, but I do worry about damaging it.

The watch doesn't have a compass but you won't miss it. If you are a serious walker/rambler you should probably have your own compass anyway. However if you really want a compass on the watch you should probably go for one of the pro-trek models which are also really just as good, but slightly dearer. However I really like the unique look of the Riseman, and it wasn't worth sacrificing that just for a compass.

Also since the Altimeter is based on the readings from the Berometer, if the weather declines the berometer will read correctly (showing a downward slope on the graph in the little red circle, top-left of the face), but the altimeter will say that you have just decended 40 meters or so. A little dissappointing but how else can you expect the Altimeter to function? It is still very accurite, and great fun when you're up Helvellyn or some other mountain/hill, it even works indoors!

Summary:

If this is the top end of your budget, get one now! You won't regret it :D

The watch was suprisingly pretty once I got it, better then the picture presented it as. Much because of that the watch actually is in black - not blue as the picture presents.

It's pumped up with features, you have to tinkle for a while with them to get them working, except the watches thermometer who seems to think it's +30.1C wherever it is.

The watch manual recomends you to wear as far down on your hand as possible (so that the solar panels get sun), but if your a leftie the "sensor" will make this dificult as it keeps crashing with your hand.

Else is this watch is a SOLID watch, this is coming from a soliders who uses this watch in the field every day.

The altimeter is not very reliable, it uses air preasure to measure the hight, and aipreasure changes from place to place and time to time. my home goes from 110 M to 200 M over the ocean, if you use this for hiking you need signs telling you your actually hight over the ocean, calibrate the watch according to those and you'll have a OK altimeter.

the Waveband radio have I had no problems with, but a few of my friends owning similare watches need to put them in the window during the night for the watch to set (bad reception, often happens if you life with large buildings around you), but you can tell it to calibrate whilst you are outside walking.

The watch actually tells you how much battery it's got left, which is sort of neat.

Else timer, stop watch, alarm, recording unit (recording temp, hight, barometer preasure etc) works as it should, needs real sun to charge the battery properly.

I'd highly recomend this watch for people who needs a watch they can rely on during harsh/extreme conditions, except the altimeter and thermometer readings.

The watch arrives in a chunky tin can

It doesn't look as big as the case size (50mm) suggests

This electronic watch brings back the 80s with the fiddly interface and interface abbreviations — fun!

With solar power and radio-controlled synchronization this is a great traveller's watch. Also looks (and is) cheap enough to be taken to rough and inhospitable terrains and countries.

Enjoying my dose of 80s, thanks casio!!!

This watch is great exactly what you would expect from this type of Casio. It even has a soft power applied to the inside of this band so it does not stick to your wrist. The Order was great. It arrived 3 days after the order and in the morning so i did not have to collect it from the post. The only negative side is that you need to configure the altimeter every time you use it or else the readings will generally be wrong. Nevertheless i recommend the watch to everyone.

I considered purchasing this watch for sometime after reading numerous positive reviews. I am glad I eventually did. The watch has exceeded my expectations. It is an excellent, sturdy, well designed watch that also looks great. I find the watch to be very light and comfortable to wear, also it does not look oversized on the wrist. My favourite features are the radio controlled atomic timekeeping and the fact it is solar powered. The power save feature at night is also a clever idea and I doubt the watch will ever be low on power.

Overall I would recommend you buy the Riseman if you appreciate a fully featured near indestructible watch which looks good.

Do's: I can absolutely recommned this product. Riseman has multiple features but the thing I like about it is the graph that shows weather pattern of the particular day. With it I ca predict the climate and weather of a particular day. Now I wouldnt be worrying if I am suitably cloth.

Don't: The led doesnt stay that long to allow you to see your time piece.

Just a great watch for the dessert. It is easy to use and the light is great. I had a Suunto before, but I always go back to Casio again and again.

Let's start with what you will receive when you order either model. The Riseman 9200, module 3147, comes in a tin and a manual printed in English.

Both modules are outstanding. Current time is displayed in all modes, except the Altimeter Mode. When viewing the watch in the Timekeeping Mode you will notice a graph located in the red eye. The graph displays a barometric trend that helps one determine if the weather is deteriorating or improving. Also displayed in the Timekeeping Mode is the day, date, year, battery strength indicator and signal strenth indicator for the Atomic feature of the watch. So basically in the Timekeeping Mode, you are in full command.

The manual describes the reference point option as, When mountain climbing, you can specify a reference marker along the way or altitude information from a map. After that, altitude readings produced by the watch will be more accurate than they would without a reference altitude. Other feautes in the Altimeter Mode are an altitude graph that shows measurement results, an altitude stopwatch that lets you track and store altitude ascent/descent for a specified time. I have not had the opportunity to significantly test this feature, however based upon Casio's success of this technology in other proven watches, I am confident of the accuracy of this feature.

The watch measures air pressure/ barometric pressure and temperature. Temperature can be measured in either celsius or fahrenheit. I have found one of the most useful features of the watch is the barometric graph that is displayed in the red circle (red eye). As in the Altimeter Mode, one can view prior measurements that are stored in the watch. Range measurements for the thermometer are -10 degrees celsius to 60 degrees celsius and 14 degrees fahrenheit to 140 degrees fahrenheit. To obtain an accurate temperature reading you will need to remove the watch from your wrist and place in a well ventilated area. An accurate reading will result in about 30 minutes.

A great watch in all aspect but one. What a big mistake re the temperature measurement. It measures the temperature of your wrist so never changes unless you take it off! What use is that? Surely the temp sensor should be on the upper face of the watch.
