I bought this to a broken seiko and I'm very, very happy and impressed with it.
Out of the box it was easy to set up; the first thing to do was to choose time zone and whether it is GMT or DST, this seemed complicated but the instructions were clear and it was far easier than it first appeared. Next was telling the watch to radio-sync to get the correct time, again this was easy with clear instructions. The watch then set itself and now checks itself 4 times per day to make sure the time is right.
The other features are easy to use, the stopwatch is particularly accurate and the alarm loud enough to wake even the deepest of sleepers.
The watch itself is an ideal size, not too big to dominate the arm yet big enough to see. The numbering is clear and, once you've familiarised yourself with the workings, all of the dials and info are easy to use and at hand.
I am delighted with this watch and the fact that it's solar powered is an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Bought this to have one watch for going out, gym, surfing, skiing, cycling, swimming etc. - basically able to take lots of abuse but never leave my wrist so also look good. It delivers on all fronts. The strap has a double fastener so shouldn't break. Solar powered = never battery so should hold waterproofing. Very easy to setup due to waveceptor - select city and it figures out the time and day. Glow in the dark dials are easy to read. One disadvantage is that the minute dial for the stopwatch is small and difficult to read +-1 minute so for accurate timing a digital version would be better.

Bought this watch as a present for my son and we're extremely pleased with it. The picture does it no justice as it looks much better in real life and the face is clear although numbers etc quite small so may not be the perfect choice for someone with ageing eyesight!!

The solar charging is an excellent feature as it means you do not have to send it back to the manufacturers to be re-sealed when the battery runs out like most analogue watches as Jewellers will only change the battery and are unable to seal against water. This is an expensive hobby costing from £30ish!!

The strap is rubber but good quality. The watch itself is also excellent quality and better in my opinion, than more 'expensive sounding' makes.

Overall I would thoroughly recommend this watch as a well featured great looking strong item.

A good all rounder easy to set up and use, best buy ever. Avery rugged watch which will stand knocks. As a prison officer this a watch with stood its first test of being bashed around.Only slight problem was the alarm did not go on till stopped by user and not loud enough for me. Others wise no grumbles.

This is great, no need to worry about batteries or wind up, the watch just keeps going and when the clocks went forwared then it all just happend so no messing about then either. I find the large clear display very easy to see when in a hurry. Ther hand book is just a bit difficult to get your head round but it works in the end.

Brilliant service, brilliant watch. Had swithered between this and the newer GW-2500-1AER Aviation watch, but decided that full analogue was preferable to an analogue/digital mix, plus the 2000 has the full sweep second hand. A clever, handsome watch which is a pleasure to own (and play with!).
