Delivery Policy



Please note: Due to strike action by Royal Mail workers, there will be delays to deliveries on Wednesday 30th of November 2022 and Thrusday 1st of December 2022.

  • For orders placed before 4pm on Monday 28th of November delivery will be made on Tuesday 29th of November (Tracked 24) and Friday 2nd of December (Tracked 48)
  • For orders placed before 4pm on Tuesday 29th of November delivery will be made on Friday 2nd of December (Tracked 24) and Saturday 3rd of December (Tracked 48)
  • For orders placed after 4pm on Tuesday 29th of November and before 4pm on Friday 2nd of December delivery will be made on Saturday 3rd of December (Tracked 24) and Monday 5th of December (Tracked 48)
  • We apologise for the disruption that this strike action is likely to cause to you.

    Delivery times are extended over public holidays, so please refer to the expected delivery dates provided in checkout.

  • Order before 4pm on Friday 23rd of December with Tracked 24 to get it delivered on Saturday 24th of December
  • Order before 4pm on Thursday 22nd of December with Tracked 48 to get it delivered on Saturday 24th of December
  • Order after 4pm on Friday 23rd December 2022 but before 4pm Wednesday 28th December to receive your order on Thursday 29th December 2022 with Tracked 24 or Friday 30th December 2022 with Tracked 48.
  • Order before 4pm on Thursday 29th December 2022 to receive your order on Friday 30th December 2022 with Tracked 24 or Saturday 31st December 2022 with Tracked 48.
  • Order before 4pm on Friday 30th December 2022 to receive your order on Saturday 31st December 2022 with Tracked 24 or Wednesday 4th January 2023 with Tracked 48.
  • Order after 4pm on Friday 30th December 2022 but before 4pm on Wednesday 4th January 2022 to receive your order on Thursday 5th January 2023 with Tracked 24 or Friday 6th January 2023 with Tracked 48.

  • Our warehouse will be closed Saturday 24th - Tuesday 27th December 2022 reopening on Wednesday 28th December 2022. It will also be closed Saturday 31st December 2022 - Monday 2nd January 2023 reopening Tuesday the 3rd January 2023.

    Will the COVID-19 restrictions affect the delivery of my order?

    We are currently operating as normal and are not experiencing any delays in dispatching orders. Please check the Royal Mail or DHL websites for up-to-date information on any delays our couriers may be experiencing.

    Do you dispatch orders on bank holidays?

    Currently, we do not operate and thus dispatch orders on bank holidays. Orders received on bank holidays will be dispatched on the next working day and delivery will be reflected as such.

    It has been several days since I placed my order and I have not yet received notification of it being dispatched, what should I do?

    Although rare, sometimes dispatching your order takes longer than we would like because of reasons out of our control. If it has been longer than 5 working days and your order has still not been dispatched, please contact our customer service team who will assist you further.

    My order has been dispatched, but it has not been delivered to me within the delivery timeframe, what should I do?

    Attached to your dispatch note is a tracking number. You can track where your order is through the DHL or Royal Mail website, depending on the courier. If you cannot get tracking information and it has been longer than:
    • 10 working days for Royal Mail
    • 10 working days for DHL Express or Deutsche Post
    • 21 working days for DHL Global Mail
    please contact our customer service team who will investigate the missing parcel with the relevant courier.

    Can you deliver to work addresses?

    We allow delivery to work addresses, as long as there is someone there to accept the delivery. Please note we can not accept liability for lost orders that have been delivered in this way.

    What if I'm not in when you attempt to deliver?

    We want to make sure all orders are received safely and securely. If you are not in when delivery of your item is attempted, Royal Mail will leave a card with follow-up instructions of how you can receive your order.

    Will I have to sign when my order is delivered?

    Normally, you would have to sign for orders over the value of £500, however because of the COVID-19 pandemic, steps have been taken by couriers to provide contactless delivery. Please see the Royal Mail or DHL website for further details on contactless delivery.

    My order was delivered late, can I get compensation?

    Unfortunately, WatchShop cannot provide compensation for late deliveries or any consequential losses.

    My tracking information says my order has been returned to you, why would this happen and how can I get my order?

    Sometimes, orders that have had multiple failed delivery attempts or have been labelled with the wrong address are returned to us. If this happens, we will inform you via email. We will then proceed by resending your order or issuing a refund for the price of the goods not received to your original payment method. Please note WatchShop may deduct from the refund the original shipping costs for orders with wrongly inputted addresses.
