Delivery Policy

Although Watch Shop and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd are able to ship almost every order in the timeframe specified, in rare circumstances our shipping capacity can be exceeded, causing a delay of one extra day. Should this occur, your order will be marked for urgent delivery on the following day and we will reimburse you for the cost of postage.

The delivery timescales presented here do not apply to orders which require additional security checks. If a security check is required, it will usually follow that we will need you to provide additional information; despatch will not occur until this information is received.

Watch Shop is unable to provide compensation for late deliveries. Compensation will not be provided for consequential losses (e.g., time taken off work or if the item is a gift and you purchase the same item from a more expensive retailer).

If, for any reason, your order is returned to us (e.g., incorrect address), then Watch Shop and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd will inform you immediately via email when the item is received. You will be given a choice as to whether the item is sent out again, or a refund is processed. Please note, for items that are undelivered through fault of the customer (e.g., incorrect address), Watch Shop and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd reserve the right to deduct our outwardly shipping fees from the refund total.

FAQ

Are you open on bank holidays?

At this time, Watch Shop and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd do not operate on bank holidays. Orders received on bank holidays will be despatched on the next working day, as per the delivery timescales above.

What if I'm not in when you deliver?

All UK orders are handled by Royal Mail, who will leave you a card if you aren't in when delivery is attempted.

Internationl orders are handled by DHL. Global Mail orders are passed to the domestic delivery service who will finalise delivery in your country. DHL Express orders are handled by DHL from start to finish and follow the same process as UK orders (you will be left a card).

Can you deliver to a work address?

We allow delivery to work addresses and multiple occupation buildings, but it is important that you ensure someone is available to accept the parcel on your behalf.

The courier is responsible for delivery to the address, not the named recipient. Both Royal Mail and DHL consider a parcel as delivered once a signature is taken at the designated address. It is your responsibility to ensure that the recipient is at the delivery address, or to obtain the delivered parcel from the signatory.

My order hasn't arrived within the delivery ETA.

Unfortunately, on occasion, parcels may not arrive within the agreed timescale or could be lost completely. Under these circumstances we will contact the delivery company and lodge an investigation. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund or replace a purchase until this investigation has come to a close. The timeframes for this are as follows:

  • Royal Mail - 10 working days
  • DHL Global Mail - 21 working days
  • DHL Express - 10 working days

  • If tracking information indicates that your parcel has been delivered, but you have not received it, we will launch an investigation. We will investigate with the delivery company but, in the meantime, we kindly ask that you check you property (garden, behind bins, etc.). Please also speak with your neighbours, as we have found in the past that delivery companies will often leave your parcel with a neighbour if you aren't available.

    It is your responsibility to raise a case with us within a reasonable length of time, typically 30 days. After 30 days, there is no possibility of the delivery company investigating and, therefore, we will be unable to replace or refund your order.
