Introduction
We'll be looking at alternatives to my Apple Watch SE. I’ve had it for over 7 months now and I love it. I wear it every single day, and don’t tell anyone - but I wear it more than regular watches. It’s got bumps and scars that may make other people wince, but a watch is meant to be worn of course.
In this blog, I’m going to throw away the Apple Watch, and look at 4 awesome alternatives. Perhaps you don’t have an iPhone, or don’t think the Apple Watch is worth it. If that’s the case - you're in the right place!
Tissot T-Touch Connect Solar Watch
My first pick is the perfect smart watch for proper watch enthusiasts. Made by a Swiss Brand, in Switzerland, to a sensational standard, the Tissot T-Touch Connect is the smart watch for you, if you want a proper watch. Titanium case, sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, solar powered, and water resistant to 100m, this watch has a spec list that puts the others to shame. Labelled as a swiss army knife for the wrist, the subtle screen at the bottom of the dial keeps it understated and low-key as a smart watch.
Reflex Active Mens Smartwatch
Next up is a brilliant budget option. This Reflex Active provides everything you could possibly need. Notifications, activity tracker, phone finder, sleep tracker, in a brilliantly comfortable, compact and unassuming band.
Before my Apple Watch, I had a smart watch very similar to this; and as it’s more of a band than a watch, it goes under the radar a lot easier and you don’t feel quite as silly wearing it as well as a watch on the other wrist.
Mobvoi Smartwatch GTH
If you really like the Apple Watch design, then this Mobvoi GTH Smartwatch is a great alternative. With a lovely metal exterior featuring a large screen and digital crown, alongside the usual smart watch features are two particularly impressive things for the price: blood oxygen level and respiration rate tracking. A great affordable pick for those interested in their health, with a whopping 10 day battery life too.
Garmin Vivoactive 4 Smartwatch
This list wouldn’t be complete without a Garmin. The leaders in activity and fitness for a reason, they jam-pack their watches with so many features and are so accurate with their tracking. This vivoactive 4 has GPS and even tracks your hydration levels and breathing rate alongside your heart rate and sleep patterns.
This advanced tracking makes it more of a lifestyle partner than a standard smartwatch, giving you a glimpse into your overall health. Rugged construction, with gorilla glass on top and a silicon strap, this is a super tough option.
Conclusion
So, there we go - 4 awesome alternatives to the Apple Watch. What would I choose? I find the Tissot T-Touch Connect tremendously built; a perfect balance of technology and ultimate Swiss luxury. Otherwise, it’ll be the Mobvoi GTH Smartwatch, with impressive features for a ridiculous price.
