Tokyo Flash has explained in its blog it often receives very similar ideas for new watch designs from several people, as well as their design team

Tokyo Flash watches has spoken about how the company often has to choose between several very similar ideas it receives.

The company asks its fans to submit ideas for new watch designs and has explained in its blog that it will often get very similar ideas from different people, which leaves it having to select its favourite to promote on the site.

Recently, the company stated it had received two ideas within hours of each other recently which show the time with a circle moving around within the centre of the face.

However, the company said it was all the more surprising as their designers had also come up with a similar concept/

It explained that it wanted to highlight how often it is not a case of someone copying another designer's ideas, but simply that great minds often think alike.

Last month, Tokyo Flash announced the release of the new Kisai On Air watch which was based on the concept submitted by an amateur developer.
