Jennifer Kim of the New York Times recommended the camper watch, a very cheap and water-resistant plastic timepiece which would suit anyone who is active and on the go.
She explained that while it has a very basic approach to keeping on top of the hours and minutes of the day, certain features - such as the elasticated fabric strap - make it perfect for use on warm summer days when tough activities may be undertaken.
What is more, should there be a distinct lack of light at any point, the trademark luminescent hands and markers ensure that nothing will be missed.
Timex recently solidified its standing in the American public eye after buying the rights to the New York Giants' American football practice facility as well as sponsorship for parts of the new stadium, even renaming time-outs after the company.
