Leading watchmaker selects fresh talent as head of global marketing
A new head of global marketing has been appointed to the Amsterdam headquarters of one watch-making giant.
TW Steel has selected 43-year-old Dutchman Joost Rombout for the new role.
He previously spent two years working as vice president of marketing and corporate communications with the Dutch Olympic Committee and Netherlands sporting Confederation
Mr Rombout said: "The TW Steel brand has emerged from the on-goping appeal and attractive pricing of the watches.
"The potential of the brand for further growth is what really attracted me to the company."
Chief executive of TW Steel, Jordy Cobelens, said the company is delighted to have someone of Joost's calliber join TW Steel.
He added: "His appointment adds another significant dimension to our commercial operations and is a further commitment to your ongoing plans for global brand expansion."
The 'big in oversized watches' brand has recently launched Formula One winner David Coulthard's special edition timepiece range.
As Coulthard put it: "This is my time."
