Richard Mille teams up with Felipe Massa for ornate and beautiful watch

Felipe Massa is extending his name to the world of watches with a remarkably high-quality offering from top-end watch manufacturer Richard Mille.

The RM011 Felipe Massa Flyback Chronographe uses a number of different materials to deliver innovation, creating a timepiece which the manufacturer is aiming to make fully recognisable after a single glance.

Richard Mille's main focus is making it look more of a tool than a watch, allowing the user to see every inner working of the timepiece as well as the numerous dials on the front, including a big date.

It is available in three separate body composites: titanium for €63,400 (£55,200), red gold for €66,700 (£58,060) and white gold for the top price of €71,800 (£62,500), delivering a degree of customisation for the wearer... so long as they have the money to afford it.

The back of the watch also allows the wearer to see the automatic rotor exposed through sapphire crystal, adding even more of a luxury element to an already stunning offering.

Felipe Massa had to end his season early in Hungary last year, being hit hard by track debris in the head and narrowly surviving due to his helmet, despite major facial injuries which have since healed.
