DKNY CREATES NEW CHARITY WATCHES

Proceeds will be donated to the charity

DKNY has revealed it has created a new range of charity watches that will support female troops return to the US from Iraq and Afghanistan

Shoppers in the US will soon be able to get a stylish new DKNY watch and help support female troops returning to the country following the release of a new range.

The charity Fatigues to Fabulous has been set up to help women who have served in the armed forces to return to the US.

Around 20 per cent of veterans in the American military are now female.

Launching the new range at the Lincoln Centre as part of New York Fashion Week, six veterans swapped their uniform for glamorous dresses and high heels to showcase the new designs.

Available with five different coloured straps, including white, blue, red and camouflage, the ladies watches sport a white face and have a diamante design around the edge.

Watches are set to raise money for charity later this month in the Only Watch event when an auction is held in Monaco by current monarch Prince Albert II.
