Stylish new Timex at Watch Shop UK

As some of you by now no doubt realise we have recently added s new brand to our ever growing stock, Timex watches. Since adding them to our site these stylish, affordable watches have been flying off our shelves, the broad spectrum Timex offers has a watch for everyone, as customers are realising.

To give you a little bit of the back story of our latest addition: What would eventually evolve into the modern Timex company was started in 1854 as the Waterbury Clock Company (some of their watches have this date engraved on the back). The sister company made their first affordable pocket watch in 1880. Timex itself however arose in 1879 as the name for the companies launch in Britain but only began to use this same brand name in the the USA in the 1950's. This same company made history by creating the first Disney clock under licence in 1933, a Mickey Mouse clock. Today this once small company from a little valley in America has sold over one billion watches globally.
