Citizen – 78 Years of Innovation

Those innovations, and the success that came with them, led the company to global expansion. In 1949 the Citizen Trading Co. was established.
The company’s research and development never stopped with their expansion. As a the world’s largest watch manufacturer (a title they have held since 1986), Citizen has designed the worlds slimmest LCD watch, created the first watch with voice recognition, and they were the first to design a dive watch with a depth sensor.
